Personal Accident Insurance
For service personnel, the nature of your occupation and the adventurous spirit that plays such an important part of military life, means that you are more aware than most of the reality of accidents and the financial hardship that can follow.

All trades and occupations in HM Forces are covered without exception and without any change in premium.
Serious Accidents and Disablement
Cover will ensure that following a serious accident, sums of up to £160,000 will be paid for permanent total disablement, loss of two limbs, loss of eyesight. Lesser amounts will be paid for other less serious accidents.
Hospital Cash and Convalescence Benefit
For those in hospital for injury or illness longer than 5 consecutive days we will provide cash benefits of up to £280 per week and £175 for subsequent periods of convalescence for all insured persons including children.
Medical Discharge from HM Forces
The financial consequence of losing your employment and possibly your home as a result of medical discharge is very serious. If you are medically discharged as a result of an accident, we will pay you a cash lump sum of up to £16,000. That accident could happen anywhere - at home, on the roads, on military duty, on the sports field or in the gymnasium.
Cover when you leave the Forces
Cover can be effected by all full and part-time members of HM Forces. TA and other reservists are also eligible, as are MoD civilians attached and their families. If you leave the Forces and wish to continue cover, that is not a problem - cover can continue, without additional premium, under the age of 70.
